This ice cream manages to save my day every time! I discovered the café by chance and I am outraged by the great selection, the good prices, the friendly service and, above all, the delicious ice cream! If you just want to eat a good ice cream, this is the place for you. Tip for chocolate fans: The tartufo and dark chocolate ice cream are particularly tasty!

I was there the other day and got an ice cream. The taste was okay, yes, that's always subjective, but somehow it didn't really pick me up and knock me off my stool. The prices are okay, but there are other ice cream parlors with similar prices where the ice cream just tastes better. So unfortunately only 3 stars, I'll go back soon to try it, maybe it will be different. Update-29.09.2020: I was there again, this time the ice cream was really better, there were other types and if you don't get there shortly, you can still get everything. That's why I'm raising my rating by 1 star, because I liked it this time.

Good ice cream, despite / during the Corona time an institution of ice art

You can sit outside, but right on the street. You have to go in yourself to order, pick up and pay. Therefore not suitable for disabled people because of the steps. The ice cream is ok and tastes good.

A typical Italian ice cream parlor. Currently only outside the home. Small terrace. All classics are represented. I recommend the Melba peach sundae, which is now hard to come by anywhere else.

After three or four requests to put an umbrella in the umbrella stand (sunny weather and a small child with us), the request was only complied with loudly. Very rude staff, the ice cream was solala and the way the ice cream was served was not environmentally friendly at all. Everything in plastic and paper cups👎👎👎

It's probably just a matter of taste, but personally the ice cream at the Lido ice cream parlor doesn't taste good at all. In addition, the croissant is of poor quality (these light ones without "cracks"). The place itself doesn't look very inviting. Personally, I prefer to walk a few meters to eat good ice cream. But here everyone has to make up their own mind ✌🏼

The ice cream is always served in paper cups and plastic spoons - unfortunately not very environmentally friendly. To go is not a problem, but if you sit in the shop you can serve the ice cream with decent dishes. You have to get the ice yourself beforehand and then you can sit out. No service for an ice cream parlor in my opinion. The yogurt cup with fruits was more like a quark-kiwi cup. Instead of the usual natural yoghurt, it was very firm yoghurt and the fruits consisted mainly of kiwi, banana and strawberries. The ice cream itself tasted okay, but the price for these "circumstances" is extremely high.

Inedible ice cream in my opinion .. doesn't taste good .. Yoghurt cups with fruits, only kiwi with peel found.

During Corona times there are four tables outside. I personally find it very pleasant. Before Corona it was always very cramped. Ice cream (or a yoghurt cup in the picture) very tasty and refreshing. Friendly service. The order must be placed at the window itself, but is then brought to the table.

Despite self-service, the waitress was so nice to take another order and bring it to the table. Exceptions prove the rule!

My family and I have been regular customers at Eiscafe Lido for several years. The staff is always friendly, the ice cream is made in the ice cream parlor and it always tastes very good. I am very satisfied, therefore 5 stars.

Very delicious ice cream! I can recommend it to everyone. You can taste the difference!

Sonce I live in this area over past 9 years, I tried this ice creamery twice. Both times I was left very disappointed. I am a person who just enjoys the taste of two scoops pure, without any huge cream decoration or stuff. Ice cream is quite watery, not creamy and has quite frozen water cristals in it. Eis Cafe Venezia in Heddernheim is a much better choice.
